Why don't you make me a swimsuit?
From that innocent question, and some simple designs made in a hotel room in Rome during a cold January night, PsittacusWear was born.
1. Graphic Design
Behind PsittacusWear are Álvaro and Javier, although many of you may know us from Instagram as @coke.amob and @metrallax, where we took our first steps in this project with great enthusiasm and surprise at the warm reception we received. A dream we’d had for many years was becoming more and more real as you got to know us, and after many hours of hard work, we decided to embark on this journey.
2. Web Development
At the helm of design and production is Álvaro, with over 20 years of experience as a tailor and dressmaker. Javier is responsible for the marketing/community manager, sales, and logistics departments. A perfect team, the only one missing is our beloved Coco, a red-tailed African grey parrot who, as many of you may know, is the one who gives the brand its name: PsittacusWear.
Fun, eye-catching, bold, and always with a little bit of spice. That’s how we define ourselves, and that’s how we’d like you to see PsittacusWear. Our swimwear and underwear are made in our workshop: we lovingly craft each piece individually, without outsourcing any part of the process.
